Welcome to the official page of Joshua Nylan Tanner, native born New Orleans cultural artist - First Priest and armour bearer of the House of Divine Prince, initiated and active member of La Source Ancienne Hounfo and fire keeper to the Lakota medicine man, Ten Fingers. 

  Joshua has been an active cultural figure in New Orleans as a Mardi Gras Indian, Wildman of the Black Hawk Voodoo Tribe since 2016 and is currently a co-administrator of the New Orleans International Vodou Day, and annual gathering of delegates from across the globe including Benin, Cuba, Haiti and Mexico.

I help individuals and peers in the Voodoo, Hoodoo, and traditional American Indian communities reconnect with authentic spiritual traditions. Drawing on 20 years of forensic research, spiritual practice, ceremonial practice, and Mardi Gras Indian tradition. I offer readings, healing services, and cultural education designed to unite people and preserve our shared heritage.
